The Adult/Young Adult Department serves Woodridge Public Library users from the teen years through adulthood. Reference librarians are always available to assist you in the library, on the telephone (630-964-7899), by fax (630-968-4126), or through e-mail (askus@woodridgelibrary.org.)

- Adult Programs - Free programs conducted by local and national experts on a broad range of topics, held year-round.
- Computer Classes - A variety of free computer classes (for Woodridge Library cardholders) are held year-round in the Library's state-of-the-art Computer Training Lab.
- Computers - A variety of computer services, including wireless access, are available to library patrons. Computers located in the Adult/Young Adult Department can be used by library patrons ages 12 and above.
- ESL & Literacy Resources - We have a collection of books, videocassettes, and audiocassettes to assist Woodridge residents with their English as a Second Language studies and basic literacy skills development.
- Interlibrary Loan - Request material from libraries within or outside the Metropolitan Library System.
- Outreach Services for Patrons with Special Needs - If you are a Woodridge resident with special needs, we have several ways of serving you.
- Reader's Resources - Looking for something to read? Ask a Librarian or consult one of the many booklists and bibliographies they have created to help you find that perfect book!
- Young Adult Corner - Fiction and non-fiction books, illustrated novels, videos, and books-on-tape for teens. Also a variety of fun programs and activities, including the Summer Reading Program, Games Nights, and G.O.A.T. (Group of Advisory Teens).
