Quiet Study Rooms

The Children’s Department has three quiet study rooms. Two of the rooms seat four and one room seats six. The quiet study rooms are not soundproof, so care must be taken to keep the noise level low. These rooms are for groups who need to study together, or who want an environment that has less distraction.

Study rooms may be reserved up to a week in advance. To use a study room one member of the group is required to leave a library card or ID at the desk when signing up for the room. The individual leaving the ID is responsible for the condition of the room and the activity of the other members of the group. If any member of the group is disruptive, the whole group will be asked to leave.
