In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Village's incorporation, the Woodridge Public Library has compiled the this set of historical images. The images are from a variety of sources. Many of the images are from a former Library display related to the history of the Village. Additional images and information are provided courtesy of Centex, Inc., the Woodridge Police Department, the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District, the Woodridge Chamber of Commerce, the DuPage County Historical Society, and current and former residents of the area, including the Nadelhoffer family. The Library gratefully acknowledges their assistance and cooperation, and encourages anyone else willing to share images related to Woodridge history to contact the Library. |
