Volunteering at the Woodridge Public Library

All of our volunteer positions are currently filled. The Library accepts volunteer applications which are kept on file for 1 year. There are a limited number of volunteer positions available. When an opening occurs, the applications on file will be reviewed for a suitable candidate to be interviewed for the position.

To find other opportunities in the area, please visit Giving DuPage or the Village of Woodridge Volunteer Opportunities Directory.

Our adult volunteer positions include:

Library Reserves - Pull materials from the shelves to fill holds.

Outreach Delivery - Outreach volunteers deliver library materials to our patrons who are unable to visit the Library..

Book Sale - Volunteers help to fill and organize the Book Sale shelves.

Special Events - Volunteers provide assistance with special Library events.

Language Interpreters - Help us to make language interpretation services available for our non-English speaking patrons.

How Can You Become a Volunteer?
