E-Book & Audiobook Downloads
The Library has three collections of downloadable materials: eRead Illinois , Media On Demand, and hoopla digital. They offer e-books, audiobooks, and comics that can be read and listened to on computers and mobile devices. Media On Demand is the only collection that has e-books that can be read on e-ink (not Fire) Kindles.
Items checked out from these collections do not have to be returned--they'll simply expire at the end of the loan period.
Users get 5 items per month. Items are always available so there's no waiting.
hoopla digital offers movies, music, e-books, audiobooks, and comics. Find the app in the Apple App Store, Apple TV app store, Google Play, or Amazon app store.

You can even send and read your borrowed ebooks to your Kindle ereader (U.S. only)! It’s free and easy to get started for new users and a streamlined experience for current OverDrive app users.
Kindle Fire users: the Libby app isn't available for the Kindle Fire. Use the Media On Demand website to send Kindle books to your Fire, or use the Silk browser on your Fire go to use Media On Demand on the Libby app page for an app-like experience.

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of e-books for children. They are a great way to encourage tech-savvy kids to enjoy reading!
There are over 250 animated, talking picture books! The site also features Spanish and French books, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and exciting games and puzzles!
