Masks Required, Covid-19 Protocols, Program Registration Updates

Anyone entering the library building must wear a mask as required by the State of Illinois. This mandate applies to all individuals age two or over when in an indoor public space, regardless of vaccination status.
COVID-19 is highly contagious. If you feel sick, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have a known exposure, or suspect you have been exposed, do not enter the library.
Available Services 
  • Browsing the collection, checking out & picking up items on hold
  • Wi-Fi & printing/copying/faxing/scanning
  • Computers; no reservations
  • Book Sale
  • Tables & seating
  • Study rooms available for use (walk-in or reserve in person or over the phone)
  • Book Returns open
  • Donations accepted, following Friends of the Library guidelines
  • Storytimes & programs: register on the Events Calendar
Unavailable Services due to COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
  • Meeting rooms are not available
  • Limited children’s activities: toys, puzzles & learning kits removed
  • See individual program listings on the Events Calendar for the most current registration requirements. In-person programs may be updated to reflect required registration with limited capacity, as we continue to follow Covid safety protocols and allow for social distancing.
  • Virtual programs (registration required) and take-home programs (available at the Circulation Desk) continue to be highlights of our library service, allowing patrons to participate at home. See the Events Calendar for registration or pickup details.
