The Woodridge Public Library is undergoing a partial roof replacement project that is expected to last four to six weeks. We plan to remain open throughout the project and ample parking for patrons will be available. Occasionally during the project, car traffic and parking spaces running directly along the south side of the library building may be affected.
According to Library Director Pam Dubé “Keeping the building in good operating condition is of utmost importance and roofing is key.” She notes that it has been over 20 years since the roof over the original library building, circa 1979, has been replaced.
During the course of the project, patrons will continue to be able to access handicapped parking spaces, outdoor book returns, the curbside pickup service, and all of the library’s entry and exit doors. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience during the roof replacement, and we thank you for your patience.
