When winter descends upon the Northern Hemisphere, nature puts on a spectacular show for anyone willing to brave the cold. Though the days are short, they are still filled with natural wonder. The stillness of the frozen air, glimmering ice crystals, the silhouette of tree branches covered with snow, and the quick flash of a songbird at a backyard feeder give this season its own natural beauty. The Woodridge Public Library encourages everyone to bundle up, grab your camera and venture outside!
