Artists Bing Ma and Fei Yang, along with students from the Ray Chinese School in Lisle, Illinois are the featured artists throughout January in the Woodridge Public Library's Art Gallery. Supporters and the public are welcome to attend an Artist Reception on Sunday, January 22, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., which is being held in the library's lobby.
“For the Love of Art”
Professional artists Mr. Bing Ma and Ms. Fei Yang teach art classes for both children and adult students at the Ruihua (Ray) Chinese School in Lisle. The artwork for this exhibition includes paintings by each teacher as well as work from their adult students. The local Ruihua adult painting class was established in 2019. These students usually have professions outside of fine art painting. They gather every weekend to learn painting from Mr. Ma and Ms. Yang and simply enjoy the pleasure and beauty brought by art.
