Community Outreach

We love bringing the library to our community! You can find us at different events around Woodridge. We also welcome groups to visit the library for tours tailored to their needs. Contact us if you’d like us to come to your event or to set up a tour.

School Visits

St. Scholastica School holds a Family Reading Night once a year. We bring STEM activities and information about new library services.

Woodridge Jubilee

Have fun with us at the Jubilee! We bring games and giveaways. We also sign people up for library cards!

Library Tours

Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and parents of English language students are some of the groups we’ve given specialized tours to. We show the groups around and tell them about resources relevant to them. Contact us if you’d like to set up a tour.

Stories in the Park

When the weather’s nice, you just might find a Children’s Librarian in one of Woodridge’s many beautiful parks. We bring stories and songs and the Woodridge Park District brings a fun craft.
