You see them when it’s warm outside, hanging out in flowers and working away. Bees! Safely meet these fascinating and important insects during an Earth Day event buzzing with fun. Lori Harris from Salt Creek Butterfly Farm is bringing some hard-working bees to the library in a safe and locked plexiglass case. See the bees up close and learn how you can be a friend to the bees in your neighborhood. Try on beekeeper gloves, hat, or suit.  Take a photo. Do you love bees? We do!

Recommend for families with children in Pre-K to Grade 4: please register each child.

Registered attendees may enter a bee backpack giveaway drawing.
