A regular Meditation practice has been touted by Forbes as one of the top ways to be happier this year! Hear science backed benefits of meditation from a longtime practitioner and teacher, our very own Adult & Teen Staff member Dana Kraszczynski. Class will begin with a brief overview of a few popular styles of meditation and their benefits, followed by a beginner-friendly, guided meditation practice.
Dana, who teaches yoga and meditation under the name Dana Joyce, is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She is trained and certified in guided meditation and various styles of yoga.
If you attended the previous Meditation 101 program, the guided meditation will be a different style than the last session.
You may choose to take part in the meditation from your cushioned program chair, or please feel free to bring a floor pillow, or meditation cushion.
