Can you save money by growing your own vegetables? Yes! With a good plan and advice from a Master Gardener, you can avoid overspending on your gardening supplies and choose and grow vegetables that will make your dinner plate and wallet happy.
Master Gardener Pat Miller (updated 2/22/2023) from the University of Illinois Extension program will cover all the basics with money-saving tips during a special in-person gardening presentation on Saturday, February 25 at 1 p.m. Make attending this program your first step in growing a successful and thrifty garden.
