Program Description

Event Details

Just in time for you to prepare for the full lunar eclipse occurring on Sunday, May 15, this exciting presentation will focus on celestial observations of the night sky you can do with just your eyes, including moon phases, eclipses, planets, and stars. So much observation of our daytime and nighttime skies can be done without a telescope! This will be a live program, presented over Zoom by Adler Planetarium's Michelle Nichols.

Whether you are a novice skywatcher or have years of experience, adults, teens or families will learn something new. Register to receive a Zoom link to attend.

Michelle is Director of Public Observing at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, IL, leading all of Adler's telescope, observatory, and public sky observing initiatives and events.
