Have you put your family name into Ancestry or Google? Maybe you took a DNA test, got the results, and now don't know what to do. Laura Kovarik will show beginners how to take those next steps to get their research organized and moving forward. The focus will be on using free resources.
Experience Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Laura has over 25 years of experience in genealogy, serving in leadership and teaching roles at both community and state levels. She is a past president of the Illinois State Genealogical Society (ISGS) and belongs to several professional and local genealogical organizations. Her work has been published in Fox Tales and The Quarterly, the ISGS magazine.
