Learn about extinction, fossilization and dinosaur classification. Taught by the real dinosaur hunters—paleontologists—with hands-on fossil activities.

STEM

Baby Lapsit I is a gentle 15-minute storytime of fingerplays, soft movement activities and a story shared with your baby.  Fifteen minutes of playtime and social time will follow the program.

Kids in this age group will also explore geology and touch on evolution.

This program is for families with children 2 to 5 years of age. Parents or caregivers are welcome to attend, but are not required to unless their child is under 3 years of age. Registration not required.

Bring your own family history notes and questions, you will access to and guidance in using Ancestry.com and other genealogy research tools available at the library.

Awaken kids' curiosity and their interest in problem solving! Kids build LEGO models and then program them to move and react.  For children in grades 2-4.

Due to today’s snowy weather, we will not have a library volunteer here to give sewing tips. Needlers are welcome to sit and stitch today. We look forward to a larger group next month: 

For our Spanish speaking families, this Spanish story program is for preschool children through 9 years of age, and will consist of stories, fingerplays, and songs. A parent or caregiver must attend the program with children under 3.
