If you have children five or younger, the Woodridge Public Library is offering an exciting two-part workshop for you. The Every Child Ready to Read® workshop focuses on what parents and caregivers can do to help children get ready to read. You’ll learn how to use simple but fun activities to develop important pre-reading skills, and you’ll see how easy it is to make these activities part of everyday routines. The first session is for parents and/or other caregivers only, while the second session is for one (1) child with parent/caregiver. Parent/caregiver must attend both sessions of the workshop, only the parent/caregiver needs to register. Registration begins on February 13 for Woodridge Public Library cardholders.
