Parents as Teachers: Information Desk, Drop-In

Representatives from the DuPage Regional Office of Education (DROE) Parents as Teachers (PAT)  program will be sharing information, answering questions, and inviting interested families to learn more about their program. Please drop in, no appointments.

From their website: "Parents as Teachers is a FREE home-visiting program designed to support qualifying families with children prenatal through age 3...parent educators offer individualized bi-weekly home visits that encourage optimal child development through healthy interaction with parents or caregivers, building a strong foundation for later school success. Complimentary books are provided at each visit to promote literacy. The program also provides ... the opportunity for families to attend monthly Group Connections to further their parenting knowledge and engage with other families through educational play.
