Meeting Rooms

For meetings of at least five (5) people, Woodridge Public Library cardholders may reserve a meeting room for a local community group, organization, or business.

Meeting Room AB = capacity 70 people*

Meeting Room A = capacity 35 people*

Meeting Room B = capacity 35 people*

*Maximum capacity with chairs only. Other setups have reduced capacity.

Reservation overview:

  • free for valid Woodridge Public Library cardholders 18+
  • cardholder must be a member of the group and must attend entire meeting
  • reservations can be made three (3) to 90 days in advance
  • only one reservation accepted per cardholder/per group/per calendar month
  • you may not charge attendees to attend the meeting
  • social events are not allowed, including parties, weddings, social events, and showers
  • commercial purposes are not allowed; no sales or fundraising, or marketing of goods or services

Study Rooms

he Adult & Teen Services Department has eight study rooms. These rooms are intended for use by small groups working on projects or students being tutored, but individuals may also use them. The rooms range in occupancy from one to six people. Study rooms are available for up to three hours with time extended if no one else is waiting.

You do not need to be a Woodridge resident to use these rooms. Rooms may be booked up to a week in advance at the Computer Help Desk or by calling (630-487-2581). An ID (preferably a library card) is taken when an individual or group signs in at the Computer Help Desk. The Guidelines for use of the study rooms are posted on the doors of the rooms.

Children's Department

The Children’s Department has one study room and it is intended for use by children up to 11 years old engaging in study or activities for children. Children must be accompanied by an adult who will stay with the child and provide an ID. The room may be reserved for 1 hour with time extended if no one else is waiting. The room may be booked up to a week in advance by calling (630-487-2578) or visiting the Children’s Desk. An ID (preferably a library card) is taken during sign-in at the Children’s Desk.
